Digital courses at SUM
The courses are open for UiO students and give credits.
All courses are free and open to all, with the only requirements being a completed bachelor's degree and payment of the annual student fee for the University of Oslo.
Several of the 5 credit courses are extra intensive and will take place over the course of one week, followed by an exam. This is a format which SUM has experience with from its research school.
Students who are not affiliated with SUM can contact the student administration by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the remaining spring courses will be taught online. The upcoming courses are:
SUM4033 – Environmental Humanities: From Civil Disobedience to Extinction Rebellion (April 15th - May 18th, 10 credits)
SUM4502 – INCLUDE – Socially Inclusive Energy Transition (May 25th - 29th, 5 credits)
SUM4503 – The Politics of Pandemics: Security, Development and Global Governance Challenges (May 4th - 8th, 5 credits)
SUM4505 – Capitalism, Corruption and the Climate Crisis (April 20th - April 24th, 5 credits)
