Associate Professor Katerini Storeng has been elected Chair of the Young Academy of Norway (AYF). She has been a member since its inception in 2015, and will head the organization the coming year together with Vice Chair Jan Magnus Aronsen.

We will work to encourage junior researchers’ engagement with science policy and to advance broader debates about what defines quality of research, open science and researchers’ public engagement and societal role, say Katerini and Magnus.

Katerini will strenghten AYF's work along with Jan Magnus Aronsen and Board members Solfrid Bratland-Sanda, Kyrre Emblem, Guro Busterud and Terje Lohndal (not present when the picture was taken).
