We always fall back on the firewood": Making a life worth living between turtles, trees and NGOs at the border of Pedro Marín Nature Reserve, Nicaragua

Lead researcher: Nina Alnes Haslie,  Department of Social Anthropology, University of Oslo

The project studies how villagers living on the margins of a protected mangrove forest, made a life worth living in that place, which they had named "Where the poor people live", and how conservation and development work affected – or not – the villagers.
